Why I'm so lazy about writing in here?

Just have stumbled over here again and it's definitely too dark here. I have to change the style of this blog. I don't want to depress people when they're here ...

It's done! This site is English now. But don't worry if you're looking for the old German articles I wrote. They're not gone. You'll find them in the 'German Archive'. Now have fun and enjoy this site.

I've just realised that I'm a very lazy bloke. My last entry it months ago. I'm not sure if it will change, but at least I'll give it a try. And I'll do something else. I'd like to change the language of this little blog completely to English. Why? Firstly, because I can, and secondly, because I like the language ;o)

However I'll keep my previous entries in a German archive so you won't loose them. But I hardly believe there's someone out there who bothers to regularly visit this little blog. But I don't mind. I'll do it just for fun - and I'll continue, hopefully more frequently.

Why in English?

Well, it's mostly all about keeping my language skills at a certain level. Since January this year I needed to speak English for business reasons. But since the European business was sold to a mostly German company and since I changed job for some, ah, let's call it private reasons, English isn't required any longer.

I started to read English books to not loose the feeling for it and, thanks to the technical possibilities of the 21st century, I'm looking English movies on DVD more often. But it's one thing to kind of only inhale a foreign language. I mean, it's easier to just read or listen to English words. But it's another thing to actively use them. As there are only a few occasions left in my private life, where I can practice English speaking, I decided tonight to open up this category.

I'm not expecting anyone to even care about my writings in English. However it would be nice if I could just read one English comment on an article or two I wrote here. But if this would ever happen remains to be seen.

Anyway - I know my English is quite, ah, should I say acceptable? But I'm also aware of some misspelling I'm intended to do. And of course there'll be one mistake on grammar or two. But I won't mind that as long as I can consider it kind of fun to fill this category with my totally unneccessary and for sure unimportant words. But as said before - it doesn't bother me at all.

So to all out there who stumble upon this by accident or free will - enjoy it if you can. Otherwise just turn the page ;o)
